How to think about digital transformation.

I’d like to challenge you today.

A lot of companies are hurting right now. But what threatens your business model is not a lack of digital strategy -- it is a lack of being ready for change. That would have been true before the pandemic and remains true today.

If you are not prepared to change, everything will threaten you. Customers will leave. You’re not adapting while your competition is coming up with a better business model. Current events sped up certain changes that were already happening (Whether companies will carry their digital strategies fruition after the pandemic ends, remains to be seen).

With any digital strategy, part of it is about managing risk -- because to be fair, it is extremely difficult to change while the company has to keep delivering products or services, without interruption, to its customers. But that’s what you may need to do.

If you’re in the middle of changing up how you do business, don’t be intimidated by technology. By complex business processes. By what you’re going to need to learn. If your mind is ready, then you’re ready to take care of business.
