ReWorked. Zoho and Nvidia partner to redefine workplace LLMs

At the recent NVIDIA AI Summit in Mumbai, Zoho announced a major step forward in AI innovation through a strategic partnership with Nvidia. The goal? Build industry-specific large language models (LLMs) that will reshape how over 700,000 global businesses operate on Zoho and ManageEngine platforms.

ReWorked covered the story and reached out to 555vCTO.com founder Vaclav Vincalek to get his thoughts on why Zoho would enter into such a partnership, and how it benefits enterprises.

Enterprise AI is getting personal

Zoho’s $10M investment in Nvidia’s AI platform — with plans to double that — signals a long-term commitment to developing LLMs tuned to business workflows. ReWorked goes on to say that Unlike one-size-fits-all models like ChatGPT, these models are built with context from Zoho’s own tech stack, which spans over 100 enterprise apps. This promises faster, more accurate insights and a more secure, private deployment path for business users.

Vincalek says the partnership highlights an interesting dynamic. He says it looks like the approach is to have Nvidia build or co-develop its own LLMs, and provide this functionality to its customers directly.

"I’ve been observing Zoho for many years," says Vincalek. "Its approach is to introduce new features at a slower, measured pace and I would expect a similar approach with regards to how it integrates AI functionality."

Vincalek adds that this evolution in AI could push more enterprise vendors to ditch generic models and build their own domain-specific LLMs.

Scaling AI infrastructure – the Real challenge

ReWorked’s coverage calls Zoho’s move bold — but not without hurdles. Maintaining LLMs, managing sensitive business data, and training teams to use AI responsibly all require robust infrastructure.

What does this all mean for business?

With Nvidia as its partner, Zoho is proving that specialized AI is the future of the digital workplace. ReWorked continues with the article, saying that with onboarding and sales automation to smarter content tools like Zoho Writer, business-specific LLMs are no longer theoretical – they’re becoming table stakes.
