In the business model canvas, key resources are the physical or intangible resources that a company needs to produce its value proposition. 

They can be grouped into four categories: 

• human resources

• financial resources

• physical assets

• intellectual property. 

Human resources are the people who work for the company and make it run. This includes employees, contractors, and partners. 

Financial resources are things like funding from investors, loans, and revenue generated by the business itself. 

Physical assets could be office space, manufacturing equipment, or vehicles used by the business. 

Intellectual property is anything that gives the company an edge over its competitors such as patents or trade secrets.
